K-8 School Success Workshop Postponed
Unfortunately the parent education workshop scheduled for tonight, January 31st, at 7pm must be postponed. Pacifica School Volunteers will be rescheduling the workshop in the Spring.
Today, the 31st, is the 2nd IBL Challenge Day. Challenge Day is a powerful, high-energy program in which youth and adult participants are guided through a series of experiential learning processes. Ability Awareness Day is February 16th (training is the 9th). Please see our Volunteer page for complete details.
Fun and Yum! It's not too late to help! Can you help work a two-hour shift at the Chocolate Fest this Saturday? Join us for some great family fun. This is the event of the year and not to be missed, but we can’t do it without you. All proceeds raised from this event benefit the students of Ingrid B. Lacy.

A popular tradition is our yummy baked-goods table. Your delicious donations are much appreciated. Cookies, cupcakes, brownies (cut into single-serving sizes), sliced breads/cakes (such as pound or banana) are welcome. If you bring a tray you'd like back, please label it with your name and phone number. If possible, baked goods can be dropped off between 10 and 11 Saturday morning at the Chocolate Fest in IBL's multipurpose room. If you would like to contribute a baked item/items, volunteer under the column Baker.
Thank you for all the candy donations to the Chocolate Fest. Items can be delivered to the office by February 1st. Your contributions and delicious donations are greatly appreciated.

Oceana High School is having an All You Can Eat Pasta Dinner
Have you noticed your child reading more? Here in the library, we are constantly being asked for the more popular books and many times they are already checked out. It would be wonderful to have multiple copies of these books.
